1.When she decided to support this disabled young lady:
In late 2014 Di’Ja announced she was going to begin supporting 19 year old Rahma Haruna after discovering her plight. Rahma Haruna took over social media in Nigeria in January 2016 following her revelation by a Northern photographer Sani Maikatanga. Rahma lives with no functional arms and legs and was being carried around by her brother in a green plastic bowl.

Back in 2015, Di’ja was pictured doing charity work while visiting her mother in Kaduna. She taught primary school pupils and gave away gifts.

The singer who is of mixed parentage, had in an exclusive chat said, ‘I usually wear my traditional garments to perform, and I constantly put my language in everything  I do.
I’m not only Hausa, I’m also partly Lebanese and Sierra-Leonean as well, so I try my best to bring my cultures from my father and mother’s sides to bear on my craft as much as I can. For me, the more I can talk to, and relate to my fans, the happier I am.’
