Following the arrival of the twin babies of the
world’s richest celebrity couple, Beyoncé and Jay Z they have turned
their Hollywood mansion into a £1 million (N410 million) private
maternity ward.
The music stars did this because in 2012, when
Blue Ivy was born in Lenox Hospital, New York, patients complained that
the media obstructed the peace of others in the ward.
Mail Online reported that, medical equipment
including incubators and ‘an entire professional neonatal wing’ has been
shipped into the couple’s home as they plan the traditional ultimate in
home birth.
The added that vans full of high-technology kits
have been seen arriving at the Hollywood mansion recently, suggesting
the due day is fast approaching.
However, it was gathered that it’s not usual for
someone expecting twins to have them at home but Beyoncé has discussed
it with her doctors.
Part of the birth preparation is that there will
be an ambulance on standby to take her to Cedars-Sinai Hospital should
she or the babies need hospital care.
